Time and Tide

It's been a while so I figured it was time for another blog post, especially if I want to avoid the usual trap of starting something and eventually allowing it to fall to rack and ruin.

So what has been happening since my last post? The answer is not alot really, in fact the real truth of the matter is pretty much nothing of note, at least not in the realms of the World of Stu.

Having decided to dedicate Thursday to the release of a weekly podcast there actually was no episode this week due to extenuating circumstances such as my third wedding anniversary, not sure my wife would have appreciated me blowing off a meal for two in favour of recording a new episode.

Speaking of the podcast however there has been one exciting development in the form of the show gaining a regular co-host in the form of my old compadre David Turner. We worked together on my old Falcon radio show and after three years with no communication have reconnected through our shared geekness and knack of producing something akin to entertainment when we broadcast together.

Now obviously its not a permanent fixture and will very much be on a whenever possible basis it has been good to get together again and its almost like we never stopped broadcasting 15 years ago. It also helps the show as having someone to bounce off of makes for a more well rounded and better sounding package in my humble opinion.

Outside of this I have returned to writing though at the moment I'm working on a real vanity project by way of my autobiography. I'm writing it for my children as I'd like them to know about me and what made me tick in the years before they came into my life. Hopefully it will be something they can cherish when they are adults and after I am long gone.

On that morbid note I think its best to end this post now and promise that I will make more of a concerted effort to write here more often.
